Dock station making noise and it wont stop

Hi. Just got my robot yesterday and today when I arrived home the dock was making a loud noise like it was emptying the bin and it won't stop.
it only stops when I take it out of the power. Every time I plug it it starts making noise again.
how can I make it stop?
