Here is a relevant feature request, you can vote for this post. Disable battery 100% notification

These notifications are enabled by default, there is no control option for it in the app.

Hi  @Wayne-TP

I'm afraid this solution doesn't resolve the issue.

I installed a hardwired Tapo D235 camera (firmware version 1.1.19) a few weeks ago to my house, so it has a hardwired power source from my existing bell wire and transformer. But I have had 3 notifications this morning to tell me

"Tapo D235: Charging is completed"

The battery has been fully charged since it has been hardwired.

The notifications are quite frustrating. Is there anything that can be done to mute these in any future firmware update please.

Thank you

  @Wayne-TP

In addition I've noticed that now when someone presses the doorbell, I'm getting a notification to say:

'Switched to battery powering'

followed by another notification seconds later saying:

'Switched to hardwire powering'

These are new notifications that I haven't seen before so I'm not sure whether there has been some type of update??

But either way, is there anything known way to stop the notifications please?

What's the model of your transformer? Please test the voltage on the doorbell connection nodes, verify whether it is still within the required range by the doorbell.

Do you receive these notifications every time the doorbell is pressed?
