Hi

Does anyone know if the D230S1 sensor has a protective plastic skin on it which needs to be removed before the doorbell is used....?

It looks like it may have but I'm not sure..

May i know what it is about? Are you worried about whether the doorbell is a second-hand device? From the online unboxing videos, some devices have a protective plastic on the sensor and others don't. I guess that it varies from production batches.

Did you notice any signs that the product packaging you received has been opened? Do you see any scratches on the sensor? If not, I don't think that's a problem.
