BE805 (BE19000) new OTA firmware feedback? (1.2.0 Build 20250304)

Seems that this new auto-update firmware just dropped in the router GUI. I've held off for now:
Update notes say:
Modifications:
Enhanced wireless performance of the device.
Enhanced security of the device.
Fixed some issues with displaying anomalies.
Fixed the issue that the phone associated MLO network abnormality in some cases.
Fixed the issue that IPv6 cannot access the Internet in some cases.
Fixed the issue that wireguard VPN client may not be able to access the Internet after DoT is enabled.
Fixed the issue that the corresponding client cannot access the Internet even after family time is over.
Note: After updating this version, it is not possible to downgrade to a previous firmware version.
Right now I am using three units in my house, all with MU-MIMO turned off (OFMDA only). If I turn that on, all SSIDs can disappear abruptly any time within the next 48 hours. Easymesh is off and will never be used as the entire house is wired. My network has been very stable for the past few months though without MU-MIMO. Not brave enough to try the upgrade, or at least not yet.
Would love to hear from the community if anyone has upgraded and can share their experience thus far.

Hi@Iainyeo,
Thank you for reporting your issue to community.
Please try Corpski's suggestion, that is to turn off MU-MIMO for a try.
We have escalated the Corpski case and our engineers are trying to reproduce the issue you described. If there is an update, I will post the solution here.
In addition, could I know how many Archer BE805 do you have at all? Please tell me what is the network topology? For example,:
Cable modem—router—satellite router )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
What are client devices do you have? Besides the iPhone and Android phones you mentioned, are other wireless devices connecting normally when the issue occurs?
Thank you.

Hi guys,
Appreciate your help to chime in. This evening, my SSIDs all disappeared after I am back from dinner. My cleaning robot running 2.4Ghz also lost connections. I checked my Android and my son IPhone and confirmed all SSIDs are down. My laptop is wired and is able to login. I checked the client and confirmed no wifi client. Only wired with my laptop and NAS.
I went ahead to disable MU-MIMO and reboot the router. I will monitor and will try to provide updates if any.
As for my setup, Fiber -5Gbps-> ISP Fiber router -> 10G UTP -> TPlink Archer -> Wired+Wifi clients.
Cheers!
Wee Hong

I personally have never turned this option on. I guess you can leave it on and check to see if anything adverse happens.
Personally my longest stable running up-time without MU-MIMO was almost 80 days, which was halted due to updating with this new firmware.

Hi Joseph,
After I disabled MU-MIMO, the issue improved a little. The SSIDs did not disappear, to be exact, I do not need to reboot my router for the past few days. However, when I get back home or wake up in the mornig, my wifi connection jumps to the 2.4Ghz. May be my bedroom is far from my router and it chose to connect to the 2.4, that is normal. The peculiar thing is that when I go to my phone settings and try to select back the 5Ghz SSID, it is not where visible and I am standing right in front of the router.
It occured to me several times, that is why I tested for the past few days and decided to update you now. And everytime, I have off my wifi in my phone and then renable wifi and it will then connect back to the 5Ghz SSID. I am using Android phone to be exact.
Again, before this code upgrade, I did not have such experiences. If your engineer can re-produce this issue, that would be great.
Thanks!

5 ghz is really not able to penetrate anywhere as well as 2.4 ghz. If the walls in your house are cement or concrete, the best bet you have is to find a way to extend ethernet cable into your room and to install another 5 ghz capable router (more desirable than a repeater but a repeater is workable). That way there won't be any issues with your wifi signal strength. As for sticking to 5 ghz or switching to the 2.4 ghz channel overnight, my guess is it's a multitude of factors, including the device's low-power preference and what the average signal strength your 5 ghz network has in your room.

Hi, sorry I may have confused you. The issue is that my 5Ghz SSID disappeared now and I have to off/on wifi in my phone to get it connected. I did refresh a few times without success. This is the new observation I am sharing after disabling Mu-MIMO. Thanks!

Do you mean the SSID disappeared, and switching your phone wifi to off and then on makes it appear again and you are able to connect immediately afterwards? If so, then the SSID doesn't really disappear and it's there all along. Your phone drops the connection to the 5ghz network in that case (could be a signal strength or preference issue).
However if you mean the SSID disappears and it simply cannot be found without a router reboot, then it's definitely the router that is the issue. It would be unlike my experience with MU-MIMO off however.
