D230 Camera set to 960p - but shared account shows 2K

Hi TP-Link,
I set up the doorbell camera on my Tapo account. I had my parents set up their own accounts, and I shared the devices with them.
I set the D230 (hardware version 1.20) to 960p, but when I access the camera from my parent's accounts, the screen display says the camera is operating in 2K. When viewing the camera from my phone it correctly reads 960p.
I'm concerned that the camera is therefore constantly switching between 960p and 2K.
Hoping for a solution.
Kind regards,
Damien

Checked with the support team, the changed video quality of the Tapo D230 applies to the current phone, it does not sync across mobile devices.

Hi Wayne,
I think I went to device settings to set it at 960p initially, but I don't exactly remember. It's currently set on 960p in device settings.
Regards,
Damien

@Wayne-TP thank you for checking. So in a household with multiple phones, should I set the camera to 2k or Auto?

The default video quality is set to auto when checking the camera on a new device. When viewing on a local WiFi network, the picture quality is usually set to HQ, and LQ for remote viewing.
Note that each camera also supports up to 2 simultaneous video streams. You could use up to 2 devices to view the live feed of the camera simultaneously using the Tapo App or via RTSP.
