  @madjack10

The required AC power supply for Tapo D235 should be in the range of 8-24V AC, 10-40VA, 50/60Hz.

Your adapter falls in this range, so it can be used with the Tapo D235.

  @Wayne-TP Hi!

Can I just ask, as here in our country the power line is 220v, how can we install our D235 to our existing outdoor doorbell button to power the D235?

The doorbell's power requirement is listed above, you may take a look.

  @madjack10

Hi I am confused by the response from Wayne.

The photograph adapter is 24v DC not AC. Wayne states that the supply should be 8-24 AC.

My questuon then, is a DC supply ok to use instead of an AC supply?

Thanks

  @Pozzie If you check the datasheet, you can find the power requirements of the Tapo D235. Both AC and DC work for Tapo D235.
