About Internet connection setting from the Tether application (Smartphone)

I’m trying to connect using the Tether app on my iPhone.
It’s asking me for the device login password (local password).
Could you please clarify what exactly this login (local) password refers to?
Is it the password I set when I downloaded the app—the one that includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and symbols?
If so, I’ve entered that password, but it keeps saying “incorrect password” and won’t let me log in.
I’m absolutely sure there is no mistake in the password input.
I have double-checked each character while displaying the password, and there is no error.
I kindly ask for a prompt response.
Thank you.

Hi,
Have you ever successfully logged into the settings screen of this Archer AX23 before, or is it brand new out of the box?
In case you have previously logged into the router's settings, then you must have had a password to do so.
If this is a brand new router, then you should have been asked to create a device password (a.k.a. local password) after you tapped on the "Archer AX23" within the Tether app. If this did not happen, then I suggest you reset the Archer AX23 to factory default settings by pressing and holding its physical "Reset" button (located inside a small hole on the back of the AX23). Then try again with the Tether app. I don't have an iPhone to show, but the "Set Device Password" screen should look similar to the screenshot taken from an Android phone below.

Hi@Shunsukee,
Thank you for contacting our community.
The device login password is mainly the password created by the device administrator when configuring the router.
Whether you log in to the device management page through the Tether APP or the web interface, you need to enter the device login password.
If you forget this login password, please reset the router back to factory mode. Then you need to configure the router again, you will see the login page again, and it will ask you to create a new login password.
Best Regards~
