Turn off privacy mode from day to night immediately triggers false detection

Hello,
I have this annoying problem.
If I switch off privacy mode at night (while it was on during the day), a false detection (movement or person) will trigger and the alarm rings.
It seems like the camera compare last image (day, when privacy mode was on) with the current image (night, when privacy mode is switched off) and goes crazy cause it's immediately tagged as movement or person.
If I switch on/off the privacy mode on day/day, or night/night, no problem.
Any hint?

This isn't something common. We will need more info to understand what might happen and analyze what might be the cause.
Can you confirm whether this 'false detection' creates a video as well? What do you see in the video? Please share a screenshot of the notification and a video of this event here. *Upload videos to your personal cloud drive or video websites like YouTube, then send the video link here. @simo88
Hello, no solution except having the habit to enabling/disabling pricacy mode on demand and having a light on
the camera is outside, and we have an automatic light based on a motion sensor for the night
the problem appears only at night
if light off when switching off privacy mode = false detection
if light on when switching off privacy mode = no false detection
so we raised the timer duration of the light, this way when we leave the camera area, I have a moment to enable again the monitoring of the Tapo (aka switching off privacy mode)
basicly it's like that :
I enable privacy mode
go outside (at night)
sensor light on goes on
do my stuff
go inside
light still on for some minutes with the timer
I disable privacy mode
No false detection
If I switch the light off before disable privacy mode
False detection

@TapoC410solar thanks for the info, unfortunately not applicable in my case.
@Wayne-TP any help on this one please?
Ideally I see two solutions:
- fix the firmware to avoid these false positives when light conditions changed from previous time
- allow the possibility to control other settings than only the enable/disable privacy mode. E.g. why I cannot control also enable/disable alarms or notifications? With this we can imagine some workarounds
and why not doing both :D
Thanks!

Can you share a video of the problem? You may post the video link in the comment or send it to me through a message.
What's the model, hardware, and firmware version of your camera?
