Power outage last night and all five of my LS520 bulbs needed reinstalling before they would work. Is this normal? If so, I'm ripping them out today.

Under normal circumstances, the bulb can automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and the network after a power outage. Your situation is likely due to grid fluctuations that caused the bulb to reset, which is why it needs to be reconfigured.

If power outages frequently occur in your home, consider installing protective devices on your circuit, such as those that can delay the appliance's power supply after the power is restored.
