Manual signal source selection Deco M4

My decos that are furthest connect to the main unit instead of the other satellites and that results in loss of speed and high latency. How can I force my Deco units to connect to a desired signal source instead of the main Deco.

Thank you. I installed the firmware and have manually chnaged the source signals.
I was planning on adding a few other Decos. Can I add a few M5 units with the same functionality of manual source selection along with my M4 units? Or should I retain to M4 units across the network for this feature for now. I am not sure given the firmware versions etc.
Please also guide me to the new firmware for Deco M5 if that's the case.
Thank you
Puneet

Hi, Deco M5 has already added this feature since 1.6.0. It would be fine to add a Deco M5 with Deco M4 units:
You can find the latest firmware version for Deco M5 here:

@David-TP I am facing another issue with my Deco setup. I have seen that deco units automatically turn off and turn back on when I unplug them and replug. The power supply is constantly on but the deco units turn off after restarting. Please help

Hi, nice to see you again.
Do you only have a three-pack Deco M4 or have you already added some Deco M5 units?
"deco units automatically turn off and turn back on when I unplug them and replug. The power supply is constantly on but the deco units turn off after restarting."
-Did all Deco have a similar issue, or just some of them?
-By the way, can you consistently reproduce this issue?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
