The doorbell is mains powered and is outside in full sun.  When the shade temperature reaches 35°c it repeatedly loses connection with the WiFi network.

Electronic devices generate heat during operation, and placing them in direct sunlight can cause their temperature to rise further. If the temperature exceeds the device's supported operating temperature range, it can affect normal functionality and may even pose a risk of hardware damage.
