The Tapo T315 requires a 3V DC power supply and needs two AAA/LR03 (1.5V) batteries. Typically, any batteries that meet the device's power requirements will suffice. However, the quality of rechargeable batteries can vary significantly. Compared to regular AAA batteries, these types often experience more instances of voltage instability, so we do not recommend using them.
