Kasa switch Function like Wemo

For those that have made the switch to Kasa from Wemo
I have one question: Is there a way to set a rule like Wemo in the app where if you hold a light switch. It will turn off all the other lights in the house? This is very useful for the light switch by the front door and garage. Looking at the Kasa light switch they appear to be a toggle so I'm not sure that is possible at all.

By creating automations, you can control multiple switches with a single switch or have other switches turn on or off simultaneously when any one switch is activated. For more information about this feature, please refer to this article.

If you choose to purchase a Kasa switch, we recommend managing it directly through the Tapo App.

Hi Wayne,
I've read that page but it doesn't really answer my question in regards to using the light switch itself like Wemo to initiate that automation.
I don't believe Tapo or Kasa has this capabitly and it requires a Hub and TP-Link Smart Button to do this without having to go into the app. The light switch needs to behave like normal and this is not possible because it is a toggle and not momentary switch like Wemo where holding down the button triggers an event.

Well, if you're looking for this specific operation -- 'long-press' on the Kasa switch, to work as an automation trigger, then it is indeed not available on the Kasa smart switch.
You may keep an eye on our future releases, perhaps there are some new products that could meet your needs. Stay tuned!

thanks i didn't think so either.
Having said that, what is the best way to program a Smart Button for this capabiltiy in the app?

The Tapo smart button? It does not support long-press either. There are four operations available: single tap, double-tap, clockwise rotation, and counterclockwise rotation.

Yes I'm aware double tap is not an option more interesting in the program within the application
