Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2

The doorbell rings on for at least a minute after being pressed. Can’t see any setting to alter this. Everything else works ok. 
Any ideas?

Do you mean the ringing on the Tapo hub? The ring settings for the doorbell itself and its paired chime are configured separately, check below:

  • Doorbell (Volume): Device Settings > Doorbell > Doorbell Ring
  • Paired Chime (Ringtone, volume, and duration): Device Settings > Doorbell > Paired Chimes
