S515 Matter and Smartthings issue

What Am i missing? We have a Samsung TV with built in SmartThings Hub and it is on and connected.
New Tapo S515 light switch to connect to SmartThings on the phone and it gets stuck on "Prepare your device" Check the manual that same with your device for further instructions... It times out
There are no instructions to connect to SmartThings. I've hit the restart button on the light switch to no avail. It is connected already to the Tapo app but want to connect this to Smartthings without Tapo integration.
Any helps is appreciated.

According to internal testing, the Tapo S515 smart switch can be linked to SmartThings without issue. So I won't say there is a sign of incompatibility at this point.
Please ensure your SmartThings app and the Matter controller are both updated. We recommend continuing to discuss the case with the engineering team, they should be able to find the cause.

Did you use the Matter code printed on the device, or the one generated within the Tapo app? Try to use the latter one (device settings > Matter).
Restart the switch, generate the Matter code in the Tapo app, then start the configuration. If the setup hasn't begun when the Matter code expires (15 minutes), it's best to restart device and regenerate a new code, before starting the configuration. This issue has been elevated to engineering it is a incompatibility issue with the latest FW and Smart things. What a waste of time.
As of now these devices (switch and plugs) are not matter compatible until there is a FW update across the product line.
