Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I'm away on holiday and my TC82 has just gone offline, It is no older than 2 months old, The solar panel has direct access to sunlight. The last time I checked the camera the battery was at 97%. The next day it said offline also no leds are lighting up, I've got my neighbour to bring the camera down the pole to the house in case of tp-link not working but it is as my to doorbell across the yard is working. The neighbour has had the camera on charge since 1100hrs, nothing seems to be happening . Please could you help,

Thank you for your time.

Try to restart the camera, see if the led indicator shows any changes. *Press and hold the power button 3s to turn on or off the camera.

Make sure to charge the camera with a specified charger: 5V 1A USB charger. Note that the led should blink amber quickly for 3 seconds when the USB charger is plugged, check if the camera behaves normally.

Double-check whether your camera was correctly installed with the solar panel. If some waterproof components are overlooked during installation, water ingress may occur and damage the camera. How to connect Tapo Solar Panel to compatible Tapo devices with proper Waterproof Gasket
