How do you tell the camera keeps turning on and off? Please verify whether the camera is still connected to WiFi by checking router's online client list.

Check camera's signal strength when it is online. If the signal is too weak, move it closer to the router or consider adding a network extension device. What should I do if my Tapo smart devices keeps losing connection or going offline?

Make sure camera's firmware is updated as well. What's the hardware and firmware version of your camera?

Do you have any network extension devices? There are situations in which the camera may connect to a distance access point instead of the nearest router. It is important to check the signal strength of the camera (Device Settings > Device Info, find Signal Strength and click the WiFi icon to check the RSSI rate).

Confirm the led status of the camera when it shows offline.

For further analysis, enable the diagnostics mode on the camera, export a log when the problem reoccurs. How to get the log of Tapo Camera

Then email it to support.forum@tp-link.com with the subject: [Forum ID 834504] Tapo TC40 WiFi Disconnection, our support agent will assist.

@Wayne-TP The tapo c40 is unstable and keeps going offline and online. It is placed 50cm away from the TP-link router model Archer AX10 AX1500 WI-FI 6 router.Tapo c40 version - 1.1.2  Build 250324Rel61993n.The same issue happens on a Samsung Galaxy A51 - the camera goes offline and online, but it does receive a sond notification when a person is detected. On the HuaweiP40,there is no sound notifcation for person detection(all notification is OK)Also, for the Tapoc40 camera, when it goes offline,it needs to be disconected from the wi-fi network in order to reconnect and come back online, altrough sometimes it reconnects on its own.I have reinstalled the Tapo c40 app several times, but the problem remains the same.
