Doorbell stopped working

My doorbell has stopped working fully after just over a month. Live View works, doorbell is sounding on smart chime but not on phone. Detection notifications have stopped. In the app, if I try to change any settings it displays "failed, please try again later". I have rebooted the device and even removed and repaired it. No difference. I am completely stuck. Pointless having a camera if it's not recording or alerting!

Which Tapo doorbell do you have? What's its hardware and firmware version?
- Make sure your phone has a stable network connection. And do NOT enable VPN while using the Tapo app.
- Try to delete and reinstall the app.
- Try to adjust the settings when your phone connects to the same WiFi as the doorbell.
- Use another phone or tablet, check whether the same thing occurs.
By the way, can you clarify one thing? Did you receive the error when adjusting ANY doorbell settings, including those non-notification settings?
