H200 Firmware stuck on 1.5.1 +. C260 Camera cannot save to H200 SD card
H200 Firmware stuck on 1.5.1 +. C260 Camera cannot save to H200 SD card
H200 cannot get any update to 1.5.2. Plus the H200 will not allow to add device C260 , as it says firmware needs to updated. Both Camera and Hub say firmware is up to date. Other camera Tapo C325 WB can save to SD card fine.
Thanks !

h200 issues:
H200 has a lot of missing local automations features comparing it to the h100hub, which support them completely now with beta firmware.
h200 have a lot of bugs with stored footage on hub card plus missing features like editing events, missing events like cat meow, or multi events if few was detected.
I'm afraid it won't be available in November for 4k cameras due to facial recognition, I don't know how they plan to store faces snapshots/icons on the hub card.
That delay could be due to hardware limitations.

Thanks, I looked through their website - and found it here; https://www.tp-link.com/au/support/faq/4191/
>Compatible Camera List. >Indoor Camera > C260 >Tapo H200: Nov. 2025
Will look forward to it next month - 01st October now.
Edit - my Tapo H200 upgraded to Firmware 1.5.2 - and I thought it would have had the C260 Compatibility in that firmware release -
I have two setups plus a friend has 1 setup all using H200, and all were expecting to be able to record to the one Hub storage.
I noticed facial recognition errors from some H500 Hub users - perhaps similar issues might explain the hold up with H200 firmware
release? Fingers crossed that both H500 and H200 hubs work properly in November .
Cheers!

@Affinity121 Hi ! I still see November for firmware release, so I think if we get it by November 30th 2025 I will be happy, so long as I can record my C260 t othe sd card in the H200 hub. If its not by November 30th, I will ask again in this thread. But yes, it makes me think twice about buying something that doesnt work correctly out of the box . Smart Hub Camera compatibility list

@Martybb and there we go as expected delayed until Jan 2026.
They may as well just not have an expected release date... they never meet anything quoted. Poor performance by Tapo yet again. Just what we have all come to love.

@Affinity121 - yes , I see the camera compatibility list has changed - and indeed - they have pushed H200 firmware from September to November , then November to January 2026 , even though the H500 is showing compatible with the C260 . So what the holdup? The software has been fixed for H500, so the logic in the code has been solved, and the software section had been written for h500, you would think as they are doing the logic for one, they would also do the logic and write the software for the H200 at the same time. Otherwise , they are writing it. at the same time, but delaying release of the H200 firmware , to force people to buy the H500 instead - there appears to be a priority now for the H500 in firmware release, which also could be because the H500 earns Tapo a lot more money -so priority goes where the money is. Any alternative information from Tapo as to why the continuing push back dates on H200 firmware regarding compatibility? With long duration delays - an explanation would be nice - otherwise, with communication not coming, speculation emerges . Meanwhile , Happy Christmas from one Tapo customer to all other Tapo customers, as well as the team that do work hard at Tapo .
