My Tapo C425 gives me a "network unstable, please try again" error when trying to watch a cloud video. I have to download the video to view it and even that takes some time.

I can see live view and detections and notifications work perfectly. If I switch the resolution from 2K to 750p it makes no difference and I still get the network error.

On my indoor camera, Tapo C200, I can view cloud vidoes no problem and it's obviously linked to the same Tapo Account. The C425 is about 6 feet from the router set to 2.4 GHz where as my C200 is approx 15 feet away, also on 2.4GHz

I have removed the camera from the app and reset it - I have deleted the app and re-installed it and completed the C425 setup but the issue remains?

I see from the forum there are multiple "network unstable, please try again" and there does not seem to be a fix?

Any advice would be great.

For this case, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Watch the cloud video with another mobile device, a phone or a tablet.

2. Restart your phone, router, and the camera.

3. Configure the camera to another WiFi, check whether the same thing still occurs.

If the problem still exists, then this case requires further analysis. Reach out to the technical support team with Tapo app logs and the camera logs. Contact Technical Support
