Machine gets the failed to locate error and tries to return to charge station, doesn't actually find its way there. Only way that I have found is to remap the house.

 

i have tried reloading the saved map but that doesn't do anything either.

 

nothing has changed, charge station and wifi access point are still in same locations.

 

this is really frustrating as have to remap and setup the map again.

 

A solution to this from TP Link would be great

Please make sure there is enough space left for the dock, remove obstacles if any. What to do if Tapo robot vacuum can't return to the charging dock?

 

After starting the cleaning, do not move the robot vacuum, as this might cause reposition failure.

 

Does this occur when you start a whole-home cleaning? Or does it occur during area cleaning?
