Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have been running 6 Tapo devices with no problems for about 3 years. Yesterday I upgraded my nework and have been unable toconnect ANY device. Using aP110 as an example. It flashes green & orange. Ifollow reconnect device to wifi. All goes smoothly - it finds the device, it finds the network, it tries to pair the device. Light goes to orange flashing. After a minute or so it returns to oramge green flahing. I have let it run for 2 or 3 minutes but nothing. I have tried this with several different devices both without deleting the original device and after having deleted it. Not a glimmer - it hangs on the pairing process. Any observations/suggestions gratefully accepted

Wayne - many thanks for your response and sorry it has taken a few days to get back to you.

It was a simple fix  to set up a 2.4 channel on the mesh router. I had earlier seen some devices attached to the router at 2.4 and had assumed the Tapo devices would connect as well. Shows what little I know.

Again thanks for getting involved.

Is your new wifi a 2.4GHz and 5GHz combined network? Try to disable 5GHz temporarily, or separate a dedicated 2.4GHz WiFi, see if that helps.

You can also try to connect the plug to a hotspot WiFi, or enable a 2.4GHz network, see if the smart plug can connect to other networks successfully.
