When I’m at home or awake, I usually disable “movement-” and “person-” detection by activating Home Mode, since the camera would otherwise report my own movements whenever I’m in the garden or backyard.

However, it’s currently not possible to configure Detection Zones together with Home/Away Modes, as one setting overwrites the other.

This is quite frustrating, because there’s a road passing by my house, and without excluding that part of the frame through a detection zone, the camera constantly reports car detections. A good solution would be to allow configuration of Detection Zones within the Home/Away Mode settings.

Using the integrity setting isn’t an option, as it disables everything and can’t be customized.

At the moment, I have to redraw the detection zone several times a day. To me, it doesn’t make sense to offer a feature that can’t be used together with presets.

Are you planning to fix this? I do find this workaround very unpractical.

I've tried to send you an email but just received some AI-robot answer....

  @Nice_Guy

The detection zone is available in Home/Away mode settings, you may recheck it carefully. If the current feature doesn't meet your needs, please provide more specific details about the desired effect.
