D235 skipping/jumping when connected to H200
D235 skipping/jumping when connected to H200
My d235 is hard wired and set to always on mode. I have the storage set to the H200 Hub, however the footage skips and jumps a few seconds at the start of a new detection, almost like the pre record function isn't being captured correctly.
If I then try to watch it back in the timeline the same thing happens.
When I have the same configuration but the storage is set the the SD card inside the camera, all the issues are resolved.
I've tried formating the SD card, rebooting, checking for firmware update of the h200 and lots of other.
My hub is close to the router and camera so there shouldn't be any issues there either.
Any suggestions?

it's h200 bug, I have same issue with perfect signal, 24h recording is on and it's always happening before and after event, missing like 1 to 3 seconds of footage before and after every event.
I have one of the newest H200 beta firmware.
That issue is still under investigation by support.

Yeah that's the same as mine.
I also get the small black lines before and after events some times.
When I try to play it back in the time lime it will either play with big jump/skip or I'll get the 'no recordings' mesaage.
Does the c225 allow for internal SD card and have you tried it with that?

Yeah same, if I switch to the camera SD the issue doesn't occur. My signal is great and I've tried every configuration ethernet/WiFi back up on/off ect.
I've been on that 1.6.0 fw for the last 24 hours and the issue still persists but try it and let me know.
I might pick up the H500 to see if the bug is just on the H200.

yes but I use it for c260 for now, but if I switch it to c225 it doesn't change anything for Hub

Are your cloud clips of the same event the same length as your SD stored clips or shorted?

@Tapoman69 the shortest cloud is 15-16 sec, the shortest for h200 are 9 seconds, hub events are shorter, that's why I turned on continuous recording, support said it is designed like that and won't be changed

Hey Wayne. Another user is having the same issue with the H200.
I will upload two photos.
The first is the timeline when the storage is set to the camera internal SD card
And the second when it set to store in the H200 Hub.
You can see the internal timeline is smooth whereas the h200 has black lines at the start events and after where the footage is not being recording correctly causing the skips/jumps.
My WiFi signal is good between all connected devices and running on 2.4ghz network. I've tried every configuration with the h200 using ethernet/back up on/off and the issue is still there.
I may purchase the H500 and an SSD and see if the problem happens there or it's just a H200 issue. Thanks
