D235 skipping/jumping when connected to H200
D235 skipping/jumping when connected to H200
My d235 is hard wired and set to always on mode. I have the storage set to the H200 Hub, however the footage skips and jumps a few seconds at the start of a new detection, almost like the pre record function isn't being captured correctly.
If I then try to watch it back in the timeline the same thing happens.
When I have the same configuration but the storage is set the the SD card inside the camera, all the issues are resolved.
I've tried formating the SD card, rebooting, checking for firmware update of the h200 and lots of other.
My hub is close to the router and camera so there shouldn't be any issues there either.
Any suggestions?

the funniest thing is if you turn off all detection then won't be any gaps, so it's 100 percent hub software bug.

I noticed this too. I turned off all detection and just let the 27/7 run, found a part where someone walked passed the house and there was no jumping or skipping and that was with the Sd storage set to the hub.
Seems to be an issue with it waking up or something to do with the pre record function.
I really hope it gets addressed because I don't want to have to fork out for the more expensive h500 just to have my footage safely stored inside. That's if the issue doesn't happen on that too.

@Tapoman69 Okey, that new firmware didn't fix it

I was sent a 'debugging' FW of 1.2.1 for doorbell this morning, I'm in the process of sending as much clips and timeline screen shots to support with diagnostic logs to see if they can figure it out.
In the meantime, I've ordered a tapo H500 from amazon, it's coming tomorrow, I will use the 16gb on board storage in the same wifi configuration as my h200 and see if the issue occurs there or it's just a bug with the H200. Be an interesting to see and will let you know.

let me know about h500, I had it but with first firmwares. I'm not buying it again because 512gb is enough for me and facial recognition was unusable with first firmwares.
Facial recognition is still bad on my c260 so I don't bother about it anymore plus it's oven inside of h500, hard drive inside is extremely hot.
I have sent an email to the support that newest firmware didn't fix issue with missing seconds before and after events, and that they really should extend length of clips, I'm forced to use continuous recording, I will never trust these short clips to use only events recording.
