Hello,

I was gifted a Tapo H110 hub by a friend who purchased it in Australia, iam in India. I managed to setup the hub and even added 2 IR remotes which were working great. But after about 2 days, the Tapo Hub just shows either a solid white light and sometimes a solid Amber light. I can even attach a video of this. The hub shows as offline in the Tapo app and iam unable to reset it. Nothing happens when i press the sync button for 5-10 seconds.

What i understood from online searches is that it is trying to connect with my router, Iam using a Tp Link Deco X20 mesh which has 2 machines. What iam failing to understand is that it was working fine for 2 days, but suddenly its stopped working. Please help!

Generally, if the device does not respond to a reset, it is likely bricked. You can try keeping the device powered on for a few days and placing it closer to the router. You might also restart the hub periodically to see if there are any changes. If the device still shows no changes and the reset remains unresponsive, unfortunately, there isn’t much else that can be done.

TP-Link doesn't offer global warranty services, so you may want to check if there’s a way to return the device to the point of purchase for after-sales service. For specific information, please consult the local TP-Link support in Australia, where the product was bought.

Thank you for your reply. Even though iam surprised that it may be bricked, its a brand new piece that I unboxed and I have over 25 tapo devices, never faced this issue before.. will try out your suggestions!
