Fix heating icon showing when heating is off
I find it annoying that when my heating boiler is switched off/not heating, all of my Kasa TRV's show the animated Blue icon showing that they are heating. When I click into one of them it even says "heating on" even though there is no heat going into the radiator (see below images).
This is obviously a poor UI as the TRV's should obviously not show as heating when they are not receiving any heat from the boiler. It appears they are programmed to always show this icon animated until they reach the desired temperature regardless of if they are receiving any heat or not.

As there is no direct connection between your boiler and the KE100s there is absolutely no way they can know your boiler is firing or not.
The only way to do this is to use Smart Control in the app and replicate your controller's on/off times there.
If you want thermostats that work in conjunction with your boiler, you need TRVs that are the same brand as a Thermostat like Tado or Hive.
No boiler, thermostat or controller can directly inform KASA KE100 when it fires as KASA (TP-Link) don't manufacture a Controller or Wall Thermostat.

@SteveWex Thanks for the reply. Yes I know it's not connected to my boiler but surely there's a better solution than constantly showing as on. For example, the TRV does know when the temperature is increasing, so maybe the icon only shows as on when that is happening. Conversely, when the temperature is dropping it shows as off. Not perfect but maybe a better representation of the boiler state than always showing as on (until set temp reached). I know the room temp can increase/decrease naturally but there has to be some way to find a happy medium vs the current situation.

I've explained how to do it (using Smart Controls), it is the only way. There is only one temperature measuring device in each TRV, so if you use that to detect temperature change to report to the app, you end up with inaccurate actual heating hysteresis.
Basically you will end up with potentially more inaccurate room temperatures at the cost of making the app look pretty.
In other words, you bought the wrong product. As I said originally, if you want the app to be pretty you need to move to something like a Hive Thermostat with Hive TRVs.
The KASA TRVs cannot do what you want.

@SteveWex There's a lot of assumptions in your reply which are incorrect.
1. My boiler is not used timed mode, so your solution would not work in my scenario
2. My TRV's are paired to T315's so it's not out of the realm of possibility for a potential workaround with some clever programming.
3. I'm not looking for the app to "look pretty". It's a functional item that can cause confusion, for people new to the app or when you share it with others.
4. I didn't buy the wrong product. I knew exactly what I was purchasing and how it differed to complete systems like Hive etc. It doesn't bother me massively so I'm not going to change system.
All I was doing was asking for the possibility of it, which is clear you believe it cannot happen.

Okay, I give in. You did buy the right product, clearly its easy for TP-Link to programme the TRVs just for you as clearly the TRVs have the magic electronics built in to do so.
Good luck.
