I want to know if TC82 is designed for working under direct sun, or sun will overheat battery and cause any fire incident.

The supported operating temperature of the TC82 is -20°C to 45°C. If the outdoor temperature in your area is close to or exceeds the maximum limit, it is not recommended to use this camera outdoors.
