Local smart rules
Dear all,
My Tapo H500 hub and its connected door sensors don't work without an internet connection for basic local functions, including sounding an alarm.
Does anyone else have the same issue?
Is there any solution?

To successfully create a Local Smart automation, both the trigger and action must use supported skills and devices. The IF condition is not supported in local smart. You can check here for more details: What is Local Smart Action?

@Vkos hah, its only working with Tapo H100 hub locally, ringing the hub. I have no idea why Tapo still hasn't implemented it for h500 and h200 hub. Are your automations marked as local if you have a few sub devices as triggers or any sub-devices in conditions? If it's not local, then only H100 hub supports it.

so, without internet, my tapo T110 (through H500) can open my tapo L535 but can't trigger the built-in alarm of H500. In other words H500 it's not as local as they advertise.

@Vkos actually it's anomaly that's ring the hub is locally with h100 hub, because if you check manual for local smart action, then you will see, that's not supported as action.
