I have some P110 plugs that I DONT want to remotely control. Specifically a freezer in the garage. I want to monitor its usage but don't want to control it via Alexa or the app as I could accidentally turn it off. As a safeguard I've scheduled a periodic ON just in case. I don't see how I can configure it to stop remotely turning it off.

Any ideas?

You can block the internet access of the smart plug on the router. The smart plug cannot be controlled remotely if it is not connected to the internet (cloud server). When your phone connects to the same WiFi as the smart plug, you can still check and control the smart plug locally through the Tapo app.
