I know that some temperature oscillation is normal with smart thermostats, but in my case the fluctuations are too large. My set temperature is 20°C, and the actual temperature keeps swinging between about 21°C and 19°C. That’s a much bigger range than expected.

It rarely stays stable at the setpoint, and the constant up-and-down is noticeable.

Could you please check what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance!

The KE100 regulates temperature by adjusting the valve, which inherently introduces a degree of response lag. For instance, even after closing the heating valve, the temperature may continue to rise briefly. Our algorithm is designed to mitigate the effects of this delay as much as possible.

Additionally, to preserve battery life, we must limit how frequently the valve moves. While more frequent adjustments could allow the temperature curve to more closely match the target, they would also accelerate battery drain and ultimately compromise the device’s long-term performance. Therefore, we strike a balance in temperature regulation to ensure stable and efficient operation over time.
