Hello

I have two KE100s connected to a KE110. Smart Control is synchronized across all three. However, when I'm on the go and turn off the heating, it always turns itself back on as soon as the next sector from Smart Control kicks in.

It doesn't matter what I do. If I turn off the power via the app, everything turns back on by itself when the next Smart Block starts up. And if I set the temperature automatically to 15 degrees and deactivate Smart Control, the heating still switches back on when the next sector starts. This is extremely annoying.

Everything is synchronized, but I just can't manage to switch off the heating remotely permanently. Geofencing only works until the next time block is reached.

> Did you do these two things together? Both automatically? Please note that the Smart Control feature can only be controlled manually, it is not a supported feature in automation.

I've managed to do it now. The whole thing is a bit fiddly. Smart Control keeps taking over control as soon as the next block starts. It doesn't matter whether you turn off the heating, have geo-fencing activated, or enter that you want to switch Smart Control back on manually. No matter what you set, if Smart Control is activated, it always takes control again. The trick is to go to the gear icon and set it to continue Smart Control manually. Then, when you turn off the heating, it works.

It would be nice if you could simply set up a vacation function. To be honest, I don't know why that's so difficult.

Smart control is essentially a schedule feature. If you do not disable it, temporary manual adjustments to the device state will not interfere with upcoming scheduled settings.

With the KE110, the new Hold Temperature feature allows you to configure how the TRV resumes Smart Control after a manual temperature adjustment. For example, automatically reverting to the Smart Control schedule after a set duration, resuming at the next scheduled time point, or only restoring when manually triggered.
