lately tapo app is refreshing almost every time when you have window open in back ground on ipad / when you bring up the window it refreshes to home screen most of the time which it never used to do this often and is really annoying- wish tapo would fix this annoying issue and their alert whether you want to keep viewing

It will be best to do some tests on your new iPad. Make sure your Tapo app is updated. Go to App Store, search TP-Link Tapo, if there is an update, you will see 'Update' instead of 'Open'.
Please check the version of your Tapo app: Tapo app Me page > About.

Can you be more specific? If I understand correctly, you might be watching the camera’s live stream in a floating window, and when you tap to enter the video, you’re taken to the Tapo app’s homepage instead of the live view, is that right?
