Intermittent drops of Deco E4 on hardwire connections
Goodday Tplink Team
Im working with an ISP and I am pleased with the versitility and consistency of the Deco M4 series and the Deco AX10 for multiple fibre and Wireless Service Provider applications. We have successfully installed over 88 Deco packs in the last 6 months. We can meet the clientel at a respectable price point without a subscription to added features and Mesh options make it a dream without having a ruddy extender as an option. Quite decent
However there where instances to recall the Deco E4 (3packs) from 3 of our clients as they kept disconnecting from the network our main Deco. These have been replaced with the Deco M4 at the exact same positions with no issues.
One such client had a hardwired connection between Main Deco E4 and another Deco E4 with disconnections present. I ran continious pings to google.com through the command terminal hardwired to the network with no drops, however there where drops to the secondary Deco E4 (192.168.68.36).
No drops on Gateway Deco (192.168.68.1). I thought perhaps the LAN was faulty, tested 100mbps over Deco and Gigabit with tester. Then checked firmware all updated, then changed fibre to WISP with same result.
Over 20min Deco with IP (192.168.68.36) disconnected intermittently over wireless and wired connection.
Afterward having Decos M4 on hand the Deco E4 was replaced in the same position and to the same app to the same Gateway and over 6 months havent had issues.
We therefore have not been able to order more since these instances and ask for any assistance to this matter; as other clients privately bought from Takealot and other companies also experienced the same issues and cannot gather refunding from where they have purchased them .
Look forward to a solution, thank you for your time
Regards
Obiwan
