How configurate Omada Port Security based on MAC-Adress?
Hello,
I updated to Omada v6.
Is there any way to configurate Port Security based on MAC-Adress?
Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything myself.
I installed an access point in my holiday apartment.
If someone were to unplug the LAN cable, they could then access my network.
I would now like to configure the port to which the access point is connected so, that only the access point has exclusive access to the network via this port.
A friend uses Unify and can configure it via port security.
But I can't find anything about that on my Omada v6 ![]()
How could I solve this?
Thanks ![]()

Hi @lukass2000
Yes, we can do this. You need to add an Omada switch to acheive this.
Below is the configuration guide:

@Vincent-TP
Thanks for the link and the instructions.
One question beforehand:
If this is solved using built-in RADIUS, then only the access point on that port (on the switch) can be used?
If I use an EAP235 Wall, can the three existing ports still be assigned to a specific VLAN?
Or will the additional ports no longer work on an EAP235 Wall or an EAP245?
Thanks

This is a good question. It needs to be verified through testing. However, based on this scenario, we generally choose an EAP with only one ETH port, such as the EAP225.
Do you have any other requirements?
