Tapo P300 - After upgrade unable to connect with home assistant
Until today, I was running firmware 1.0.16 on my Tapo P300. Today I upgraded to version 1.4.2 and third party compatibility stopped working.
I updated 2 other devices and after disabling and reenabling this feature, they connected again. But the p300 refuses to take that setting.
I've tried like 20 times already the disable/enable step, no luck. Also tried disconnecting and plug-in again. No help. Disabling the device in home assistant just in case both services are competing and could be causing some issue.... nothing.
Is it possible to downgrade the firmware? Could it be a bug? Can I force somehow this setting only on this device? The app has a separate menu for that but it is for all the devices, nothing on the device itself.
Any help would be appreciated.
