Hello, have bought the smart motion detectors, and connected all to the hub. But the problem is it is so so difficult to do the automation part. Meaning to get the hub to ring the alarm when the sensor drtects motion. All i get is the notification that comes to my phone but the hub stays silent. Setting up the automation part is so so complicated. Tapo, you need to do better
I’m guessing you’ve only enabled notifications for the sensor and haven’t set up an automation yet. The setup is actually quite straightforward. You can refer to this guide to create one. How to create Smart Action (Automation or Shortcut) on Tapo app
The rule is simple: When T100 Movement Detected, Then Ring Tapo H100.
