Firmware Version: Latest

I've been experiencing issues with part of my Tapo set up where buttons are used to operate the particular Tapo light bulbs. On occasion after pressing the button it turns the light on and off immediately. The same issue occurs if you use Alexa to turn it on and off, but not if you use the app to directly switch the bulb on.

I use a Deco mesh router (BE9300) and i have IoT (internet of things) set up just to operate the Tapo devices on 2.4ghz so there is not an influx of traffic causing the issue. There is also no incorrect smart action across the buttons which could cause it, and if there were it would happen all the time and just not some of the time. I know the initial thought would be the button Smart actions are causing this and whereas i can confirm they're are set up correctly, it does beg the question whether the software sometimes gets 'confused' across the various buttons.

Personally, i think it's an issue with firmware and it's quite frustrating.

I can see from a google search i'm not the only one this has happened to, but with no concrete solutions. I'm now stuck with Tapo giving the money invested so it's something i need to get to the bottom of.

Rebooting everything every time this happens isn't an option (and neither should it be).

Has anyone had this before in the same circumstances?

Thanks
