Hi, i recently had an HS210 left over so i installed it in place of a dumb 3way switch. I want to change the other switch in the 3way circuit as well. Is it possible I can use an HS200 on the other side?

Kasa HS200 is a single-pole switch, it does not have the traveler line for the 3-way setup.

Hi thanks for your feedback. I don't need the HS200 in 3-way setup. I'm okay with it just sending a signal to my smart home system without having a load connected. i just can't figure out how to wire it into this circuit. I think I just need line, netural, and ground but i don't know how those work in a traditional 3-way circuit on the load side.

This is not supported either. Please ensure the switch is installed strictly in accordance with the product’s installation guidelines to avoid potential safety risks.

If you require a ‘virtual switch’ that sends control signals without being physically wired to the load device, consider the Tapo S112, which includes a dedicated Wireless Switch mode designed for this scenario. Of course, using this device requires that you already have a Tapo or Kasa switch physically wired to the light you wish to control.
