Crazy design/usability flaw?

Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.0

HI all, Just got the device today..
Was easy to set up... in general happy so far, HOWEVER, I fell foul of a CRAZY design/usability issue.
I have iPhone, so using the iPhone version of the app.
When I open the app... I am presented with the icon for my plug..
I pressed it to go into the detail of power use etc, HOWEVER, I guess I was a tad careless and pressed too close to the power switch icon at top right of the icon for the plug.
And it instantly cut the power...
I was using it to check power consumption of my PC, and everyone knows, PC's do NOT like having power just cut to them.
In my opinion its CRAZY for it to do this..
Firstly the icons are relatively small... so its WAY TOO EASY to make this mistake..
Secondly... the app should prompt for confirmation before doing something so drastic!!!

Just me think this is VERY poor design?

Should I raise a tech support ticket for such an issue? or am I just being silly?

Cheers.

As for me, I personally own over a dozen plugs and have never encountered any accidental triggering. If this issue does indeed occur in your case, I’d suggest moving those devices to a separate room or even a different home in the app, this should effectively prevent similar situations from happening again. How to configure Home feature and Room feature in Tapo app
