TL-WR3002X - Travel router to remember hotspots
Hi,
I don't go anywhere without this travel router, but it would be great if the router could remember hotspots that it has already connected to in the past. Everytime I change locations I have to enter the connection information for the hotspot again, and considering that interacting with the router (changing settings) is very slow (regardless if you are using the app or the web UI), it would be great if it could remember past hotspot connections.
Thanks!

Hello @pepito007 ,
You mean that after connecting the TL-WR3002X to a different host network-2, you want to connect it back to the host network-1 that it was previously connected to. You want it to automatically recognize and connect to the host network-1 that it was previously connected to, instead of going through the whole configuration process again, right?
Have you tried saving a backup file? It might reduce your configuration steps. How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router

Hello @ElvisPresley ,
Welcome to our community.
As far as I know, the TL-WR3002X does not have a VPN kill switch.
This feature is gradually being implemented on some WiFi 7 routers:
△New Firmware for Archer GE550/GE650 V1 Introduces AI-QoS, EasyMesh IoT Expansion, and More!
△New Firmware for Archer BE800 V1 to Support VPN Merge, EasyMesh Guest/IoT Extend, and More
If the TL-WR3002X adds this option, it will generally be reflected in the release notes. Therefore, you can also pay attention to the release notes with each new firmware release.
