Hello @Solla-topee and @Wayne-TP,

I would like to report a UI inconsistency affecting IR‑controlled air conditioners on the TAPO home screen.

1. Smart Plugs show ON/OFF status directly on their tile

Smart plugs display:

• a small power icon
• clear ON/OFF state
• the ability to toggle the device directly from the home screen

This is convenient, intuitive, and consistent with modern smart‑home UX.

2. IR AC tiles do NOT show any ON/OFF indicator

For IR‑controlled ACs:

• the tile shows no ON/OFF icon
• the user cannot see the current state
• the user cannot toggle the AC from the home screen
• the only option is to open the device

This breaks consistency with the rest of the TAPO ecosystem.

3. Why this matters

• Users expect to see device state at a glance
• It adds unnecessary steps to check or change AC status
• It reduces usability and slows down interaction
• It makes IR devices feel disconnected from the rest of TAPO

The IR blaster already stores the last known state — the app simply does not display it.

4. Request

Please forward this to the UI/UX team.

IR AC tiles should display an ON/OFF indicator and allow quick toggling, just like smart plugs do.

This would make IR devices consistent with the rest of TAPO and greatly improve usability.
