Hello,

I have several TC82 cameras (V1 and V2). All V2 units appear correctly on my RT-AX59 / TUF AX6000 / RT-AX57 ASUS router’s / AP Network Map, but the TC82 V1 does not, even though it connects and works normally.

It seems the TC82 V1 does not send hostname/manufacturer information or ARP responses like the V2 models. Could you release a firmware update to improve network identification and compatibility with ASUS routers?

Is this network map the same as the DHCP client list? Can you share a picture here so we can better understand the situation?

  @tiomigue    Is the network map in every ASUS router. Simply this cam does not appear in network MAP.

  @tiomiguel appears in wireless log in ASUS RT-AX59U in AP mode, but does not appear in network map.  It seems the TC82 V1 does not send hostname/manufacturer information or ARP responses like the V2 models

Do you see any unknown devices in your network map? If there is one, you can check whether it is the TC82 V1. 

 

I checked with the tech team, there is no difference in the hostname and ARP responses between TC82 V1.0 and TC82 V2, so it is unlikely to be the cause. Your feedback has been forwarded to the relevant department for review. I'll share more updates here if i receive one.
