Hi everyone,

 

I experienced something strange last night with my Tapo window/door sensors and wanted to check if anyone else has seen this.

 

I’ve been running my setup for over a year without any issues. Nothing has changed recently — same sensor positions, same hub location, same network.

 

I currently have 7 Tapo T110 window/door sensors installed in total.

 

However, last night:

 

• One sensor triggered an intrusion alarm at around 03:53
• A second, different sensor triggered a similar alarm at around 04:43
• In both cases, the status showed something like: “Closed and intrusion alarm triggered”
• So 2 out of 7 sensors were affected

 

 

Both sensors are installed on closed windows, and there was no actual movement or opening.

 

Important details:

 

• No prior false alarms in over a year
• No changes to installation or setup
• No battery warning in the app
• Both events happened during the night
• Different sensors, same hub

 

 

This makes me think it might not be a mounting issue, but something like:

 

• temporary hub or connection issue
• firmware glitch

 

Has anyone experienced similar behavior with multiple sensors triggering in the same night?

 

Any insights would be appreciated.
