Hello.

 

I have several T310 sensors. All v1.0 hardware and all purchased at the same time.

 

Most of them have updated to the 1.6.0 firmware, but one of them stubbornly remains on 1.5.0.

When I perform a manual firmware update check for that device (via the Android app) I am told that 1.5.0 is the most recent firmware for this T310.

Why?

 

The T310 1.6.0 firmware provided "support for migrating to another Hub". I have recently purchased a H500 Hub, so I need this new feature.

Why hasn't this one T310 received the firmware update, and how can I fix that?

 

 

Also, I have a T315 sensor (v1.0 hardware) currently running the 1.9.0 firmware and several T110 sensors (v1.2 hardware)

Is the T315 and T110 also getting firmware updates to enable migration to a new hub?

 

(I did receive the recent hub migration updates for all my S200B switches)

New firmware is typically released in phases and is not sent to all devices at once. If your device has not yet received a newly released version, please wait patiently as the release scale will be expanded gradually until full rollout.

New firmware is typically released in phases and is not sent to all devices at once. If your device has not yet received a newly released version, please wait patiently as the release scale will be expanded gradually until full rollout.

  @Customer0 same here. I have two and one is stubbornly on 1.5.0. I did think it was staggered like the cameras are but it's been a week now. I thought a few days apart would be okay but it's been a surprisingly longer time than I'd have expected.

My other T310 devices picked up the firmware update about a month ago. That's a very long staggered roll-out...

 

Why is this one T310 device taking so VERY much longer?

 

Also why does the manual check function in the Android app not detect the firmware update at all?

 

And please could you answer my questions regarding the firmware for the T315 and T110 sensors?

  @Customer0 s200, t315 and t110 as well got an update for migration, but it's rolled out in stages. I got an update for a few devices a week ago, but some are still on old firmware.

Hopefully @Wayne-TP can explain why the firmware update is taking OVER A MONTH to be rolled out to just one of my T310 devices and also why the manual firmware update check in the Android app doesn't work.

 

 

I see now that there are release notes for a hub-migration update for the v1.0 hardware version of the T315.

 

But there is nothing for the the v1.2 hardware version of the T315.

In fact, there are no firmware release notes at all for the T315 v1.2 hardware version.

It's completely missing from the TP-Link web-site:

Something else for @Wayne-TP to look into and fix.

The timeline for a complete firmware release is variable, though it usually takes at least several weeks. About this firmware, I checked with the support team, and it actually started rolling out just two weeks ago.
