The hoover keeps releasing water whilst docked whether the mop attachment is connected or not.
When I remove the mop accessory it is not recognised as being removed - I have dried and cleaned all parts of the hoover but it still does not work.
If any cleaning agents are added to the water tank, they might corrode the hardware and cause leaks.
Regarding the unrecognized mop, you may try rebooting the vacuum (press and hold the power button for 3s to turn it on or off) and see if that helps.
