I have 3 deco x50 in my house. I have configured my chromecast to be connected to the deco and the casting works fine from all android phones but from my iPhone, the chrome is not visible for casting nor connecting in google home.i tired to isolate by connecting to a mobile hot-spot and it that situation it works fine from iPhone. Then I reconnected to deco and still not working. I have disabled fast roaming, device isolation, mesh technology for chromecast.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Please make sure the "Device Isolation" is disabled on the Deco App>Network Security.

Disable the VPN service on the iPhone if it has been enabled.

On the iPhone,  please go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, and ensure the toggle for Google Home is turned ON.

 

After that, can you help me make a simple test:

Connecting the iPhone and Chromecast to the WiFi network of the same Deco, then different Deco units to see whether the reported issue occurred in both scenarios.

Yes now it seems to be working. The previous day it was all the same settings it was not working.

It stopped working again. Everything is correct and both device was connected to the same node but chromecast is not available for casting again.

Hi, thanks for the update.

If possible, it is recommended to test the 1.10.0 firmware here to see whether it helped:

This is beta release and is not available to update via app and as this is at my parents house, I dont want to install a beta release as I am leaving in few days. Do you have any time frame when official release will be made? Is there anything else that can be done to make it work on iphone?
