We keep missing recordings day and night. My last recording today was at 1417 and I have people walking by and not capturing them on camera

Same at night time no recordings between midnight and 6 am even when I set a timer and leave it to record always

  @Meshellog This happened to me the other week.  I rebooted the cameras involved and it was OK again.  May have had a dodgy update.

To help us better understand the situation, could you please help confirm one key point first:
during the time periods when recordings are missing, did the camera detect motion but fail to record the video, or did the camera not detect motion at all (meaning it was not triggered or awakened)?

 

As an initial check, we kindly suggest that you:
Review the notification list in the Tapo app and confirm whether you received any motion detection notifications during the time when recordings appear to be missing.
This information will help us determine whether the issue is related to detection, recording, or camera wake‑up behavior.
