Hi there,

my friend has a new problem with their C545D.

when it's dark, the upper camera (fixed lens) looks like this:

when she adds light through some outdoor lamps the camera looks like this:

is there a defect or why is the upper camera "blind" in darkness?

thanks in advance

You might want to check the camera’s viewing mode settings. Tap the live view screen, and a toolbar will appear at the bottom of the camera view. Look for the Auto/Sun/Moon icon — that’s where you can adjust the viewing mode. Is the fixed lens currently set to Day Mode?

Normally, the viewing mode can be set to Auto, which allows the camera to automatically switch between day and night modes depending on the lighting conditions in its field of view.

Additionally, you can check the Night Mode Settings for this lens to make sure it’s set to the desired effect. Go to the camera’s Device Settings page, select Video & Display, and then choose Night Mode Settings.
