Hi TPLink Devs,

 

Its been 6 years since RE505X has been release many stories had been made up already that this device will have a firmware that will support ethernet backhaul while using mesh but still none up to now i think im not only one still using it so we asking kindly please work on it, it is useless while using mesh instead getting full speed it gets half speed the backhaul is the only solution we dont want AP mode as the connection will not be seamless like using a mesh system.

Regarding Ethernet backhaul support for EasyMesh, TP-Link has been rolling this feature out across select models. 

As far as I know, the RE505X-v2 is planned to support EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul. You can keep an eye on the official firmware updates or keep the Auto Update button enabled.

 

Your feedback is genuinely valuable, and requests like yours from long-term users do help shape firmware development priorities.
